Megalith Red (Irish Red)

Robust and hoppy, our traditional Irish Red ale is made from a blend of specialty malts for flavor and color, which are balanced by a more aggressive addition of hops than our Pale and Stout. This sweet beer has a vibrant red color and a thick caramel-colored head, while Galena and Challenger hops give this beer a musky, grassy aroma that lingers on the back of the tongue.

Megalith Pale (English Bitter)

Light in color, but rich in flavor our Pale is a traditional English bitter. We start with a grain bill heavy on Maris Otter, a high-quality imported base malt rarely used by domestic commercial brewers. This gives the beer a deep, simple flavor on which to build. Flaked barley and roasted oats enhance the flavor, gravity, and mouthfeel of this golden pale beer, before it is lightly hopped and fermented with a traditional British yeast. The light hops round out the Pale’s smooth body and rich flavor, and help to make this a great session beer.

Megalith Stout (Dry Stout)

A dark, rich ale made from a high-quality imported base malt layered under darker specialty malts and a punch of roasted barley. Dark malts combine with flaked barley to give the stout a deep voluminous flavor, and is enhanced by the very mild addition of Goldings East Kent hops and traditional UK yeast. This beer’s moderate alcohol value will allow it to be a good year-round stout, and will hold its own against other traditional Irish stouts.
